This peculiar carving has been in my stash for years. It came from a little batch of stones purchased a long time ago, the seller didn't have any information about any of them. (If you carved it, by all means let me know so I can credit you!) Gold has been burnished into one of the eyes. Although the carving itself bears no resemblance to the being called "The Green Man," I added silver leaves on either side of it and a floral-patterned band to complete a portrait of this fascinating plant being.
Melody calls Bloodstone an "intense healing stone" and a "stone of courage." I hope you will like it! The ring is approximately a size 8. I can resize it by sawing the back of the band open and making it adjustable like many of my other rings, just let me know. Note that the setting is gold-filled. Unlike thinly-plated vermeil, gold-filled has a heavy plating of gold over gold-colored jeweler's brass. That means that even if the plating becomes worn over time, the metal remains gold-colored.
