Lovely chunks of Morrison Ranch jasper, also known as Morrisonite. (We have discussed elsewhere the concern that the extension "-ite" is incorrectly added to names of stones when there is no distinction mineralogically to warrant it.) Whatever we call it, Morrison Ranch jasper is considered by many to be the "king of jaspers." Zenz flirted with jaspers in his first two monumental works, and finally gave in to their beauty with a long section on jasper in Agates III. His section on Morrisonite is long and includes historical photos as well as gorgeous specimens.
