  Item #319                       SOLD

An ammonite is a fossil Cephalopod, in this case the originally hollow chambers have been filled with gorgeous golden to brownish stone. This individual is thought to be about 340 million years old. The septa, the clearly visible separations between the chambers, make a beautiful pattern. The lovely fossil is set in a bezel of sterling to protect it and to provide attachment points for the beadwork. The necklace is woven of seed beads.

LOVE BEADS: This piece includes "love beads," beads given to me after the fire by friends and strangers. The necklace carries the energy of their loving concern.

One-of-a-kind, subject to prior sale
