This bola tie is made from an antique Chinese pottery sherd (my mom's brilliant idea!). I carved a wax branch for it with flowers (which you can see in the detailed photo) and my friend Avery McKinney cast it for me. The bola is fabricated sterling. I used to think bola ties were about the most dorky things on the planet. Now I love them and wear them all the time. They are especially nice with beads. |
