These earrings include sterling charms in the shape of a Native American pipe. The subject of the Sacred Pipe is best left to Native Americans, not to me. Some references are below. My Lakota beading teacher was a pipe bearer, dancer, and custodian of indigenous traditions. I was fortunate to take various classes from him including also feather work, quill work and ethnobotany. I hope that these earrings will encourage you to begin or continue your study of Native American wisdom.
