This set of stones has fascinating bands of ochre, metallic grey, olive and grey white. They make a sophisticated composition with simple pearl strands to pick up the colors in the stone. The stone comes from the banded iron deposits in Western Australia and consists of hematite in bands with jasper and chert. Hematite, an iron oxide, is said to be a grounding stone which facilitates manifestation of spirit, a stone of integration. Jaspers generally relate to earth energies as well. Poor grey/black chert, a form of quartz, doesn't warrant mention in The Book of Stones; however Melody indicates it can reduce fat deposits! Whatever its metaphysical characteristics, I hope you will order this set to enhance your grey business attire or to enjoy with any casual outfit.
