In Carl Little's Ornament article (Vol. 32 #1) on Glenda Arentzen, she remarks that identical earrings do not speak to each other, but complementary ones start a conversation with each other. I might add that on occasion they even joke with one another as in this case. Wherever turquoise is found belief in its beneficial properties persists to this day. The lore surrounding turquoise would fill volumes. Please enjoy these happy little earrings.
