A yummy color combination inspired by a beautiful handmade bead! The curious purple pearls look like winged seed pods dancing on this casual necklace. The larger strand is strung on cable for strength, the smaller is hand-knotted on silk. The colors are perfect for this beautiful time between spring and summer!

Kunz (below) only gives one reference to lepidolite, associating it with the name "Lucy." Ahsian (below) associates lepidolite with the water element and gives it the attribute of acceptance. She defines acceptance as the "process of surrendering to the higher Will of the Divine Creator." While I'm grateful for all the practical information in books like this, the careless use of words can be a formidable stumbling block. Today everything is "process" and unfortunately many New Age authors have taken it on board as a mantra. As a recovering software engineer myself, I value process highly and spent my working life developing repeatable processes, conforming to standard development processes, etc. I'm using a "process" right now for updating my web site. All these forms of process are great, they have been built upon the extremely hard-won knowledge of the discipline. I have no beef with process per se. However, when somebody suggests that any form of self development is a "process" it seems to me they have no understanding of what they're talking about. Genuine spiritual activity can never be a process because it is always new. Your development and mine will never take the same path, how could you possibly describe it as a "process"? Process is reactive, repetitious; activity is proactive, always new. Can one possibly engage Spirit if one's response to Divine initiative is an automatic reaction? So I thank Ahsian for her insight but must change her word "process" to "activity."

If this pretty little set pleases you, please be proactive and order the set today!
