A precious addition to the Virgo Moon Petite Line! My dear friend Valerie has been pestering me to add tiny pieces for people who like more delicate work. This little piece features a tiny framed rhyolite cab cut by Henry Heagle, a gentleman I met at Quartzite many, many years ago. I've had this little piece for all this time, unsure of what to do with it because it is so tiny. It makes a beautiful, unusual, and very delicate necklace. All the black beads, including the tiny 2mm beads are black onyx, not glass. The etched leopardskin has the same pinks as the rhyolite. (Rhyolite is a volcanic rock, the lava form of granite according to Mr. Webster.) The pink pearls and sterling touches brighten it up. |
