This centerpiece is beautifully engraved, whether by hand or not I cannot say. I don't know its composition or what it was used for--it seemed to have been cut off something else. I gave it as much fringe as I could, a bit of an exercise in excess. Still, the fringe is not overly long, just rich. The overall effect is of a silver piece, with the hematite and silver Delicas shading the composition. The dark wine garnets lend a note of color.
